Graduation Gastronomy and General NYC Gaiety

Approaching the city by way of the Triborough Bridge, I snapped this through the cab window.

 I happened to be in NYC for a friend's son's graduation from Columbia.  We worked in a few things other than graduation ceremonies and celebrations...  

 ...like a trip to the Williamsburg Flea Market

The market with every kind of fish, meat, vegetable, pasta, olive oil, olive or sweet you could imagine an Italian might need for dinner preparation...there was even a man rolling cigars at the front

Headed home from Williamsburg after Peter Luger...Looking out the window you can see the east side of Manhattan, looking north from the Williamsburg Bridge and you can see the reflection of the inside of the subway with a very tired passenger maybe heading home

Dessert first although of course we ate the steak and fries first!

You order a steak at Peter Luger's by how many it is to feed...not by the cut.  They are all T-bones.  

It would be a lumberjack's dream meal!
