City Life

I have just added a few pictures from various activities and various days.

From the Brooklyn Flea Market

A panoramic shot of the reservoir with Mt Sinai in the very back, middle...and two
joggers at the left!!

Swinging in one of the Central Park playgrounds...never too old!

Conservatory Water in Central Park where you can sail small remote controlled sailboats

There are always people throughout the park painting landscapes

A fun take on the Great Lawn and the skyline using the iPhone app Tiny Planets

We went to the Guggenheim to see the James Turrell light exhibit.  The atrium was very cool.  We sat back with the other museum-goers and looked up into the spiral atrium and watched as it slowly turned from a lavender to blue to gold.

One57 rising behind the ornate Petrossian Building

One morning we had breakfast at Norma's and T had hot chocolate!

The Cooper Union

A lunch trip to Pommes Frites, the tiny LES restaurant that serves only
French fries and various sauces

How awesome is this?  Fries with garlic mayonnaise!  And of course a Diet Coke
to minimize the calorie intake.

The bottom floor of Argosy Books where we could spend hours!

An iPhone panoramic shot of Columbus Circle
